June Yeung is a Ph.D. candidate at the Institute of Psychology, Polish Academy of Sciences. Her research focuses on emotional experiences, societal expectations, and well-being across nations, with an emphasis on understanding how emotional norms vary across cultural context. With expertise in social and cross-cultural psychology, as well as advanced quantitative methods, June has contributed to studies published in peer-reviewed journals such as the Journal of Positive Psychology and Journal of Cross-Cultural Psychology. She currently serves as an academic editor for PLOS One.
June has presented her findings at several international conferences, including the Society for Affective Science and Society for Personality and Social Psychology. Beyond research, she has developed educational resources and taught courses on research methods and statistics, with a particular focus on making complex analyses accessible to students. Proficient in programming languages like R and experienced in public engagement, June aims to combine academic rigor with a commitment to knowledge sharing. She is originally from Hong Kong, a city regarded as a hybrid of East and West. She wants to go beyond.
