June Yeung presented her PhD research that explores how emotions function on the societal level and focuses on three core emotional indicators: emotional experience, emotional expression and emotional expectation. The research is based on quantitative data and adopts a cross-national perspective to propose new theoretical frameworks for the understanding of how different societal expectations impact the emotional behavior and well-being of individuals.
